A BIT OF BACKGROUND

How We Got Started

We have been dog owners our whole lives. Miniature Australian Shepherds have always caught our eye, with their gorgeous look, intelligent minds and willing personalities!  And of course those that have blue eyes are absolutely entrapping! Originally we did not plan to operate as a professional Dog Breeder, we just wanted a wonderful pet for ourselves. However, we became hooked and soon we added a second and then a third one to our family.

After acquiring a lot of information about the breeding process, we decided to do our part in preserving it, which led to the birth of our small business. Since then, we’ve known so much love, joy and excitement! Contact us to find out more.

AKC Breed Definition: The Miniature American Shepherd resembles a small Australian Shepherd. True herders in spite of their compact size, Minis are bright, self-motivated workers and endearingly loyal and lively companion dogs who have an affinity for horses. Despite their size, Minis are every inch a true herding dog: energetic, versatile, rugged, and extremely bright.

***Note that the AKC differentiates as a different breed, from the regular Aussie.  The ASDR registry groups the different sizes of Australian shepherds as the same breeds and classifies them according to height on their papers
